A unit is any rentable apartment, condo, or space in your building — basically, anything a tenant can lease. Common areas like lobbies and hallways don't count — those exist only for asset tracking and never bill.
No. The onboarding wizard is built into the product and walks you through adding your buildings, units, and tenants step by step. If you'd like a guided session with us, we'll set it up with you on a call — also free during your trial.
Tenants don't pay a subscription fee. The only cost they may see is standard payment processing — when paying rent by card or bank transfer, Stripe's processing fees apply per its public pricing. You can choose whether to absorb those fees or pass them through.
Rent runs through Stripe Connect, and fees depend on how the tenant pays. Bank transfer (ACH) is a flat $6.50 per payment — $5.00 to Stripe plus a $1.50 Traizor platform fee. You can opt to absorb the $5.00 processing portion, so the tenant only sees $1.50. Card payments use a flat 3.2% convenience fee, which covers Stripe's processing (~2.9% + $0.30) plus a small Traizor margin, and is always paid by the tenant. Your rent payouts arrive in full unless you choose to absorb ACH processing.
